I'm using Huawei P20 Mate. I'm trying to setup my new Versa 2 device but after logging in with Amazon, it shows the error "There was a problem with the Password". I tried with my Amazon account and my husband's account and we couldn't login. We are sure we typed the correct password. Do I need to install the Amazon Alexa app in my phone as well? It's currently not available in my current location though.

Hi @GorgeousRez, welcome to the community.
If you say Alexa isn't currently supported in your country, then I would assume that's likely to be the cause of your issue. You can confirm if Alexa on Fitbit is supported in your country here, you will need to scroll to the bottom of the page for the list of countries. Have you tried logging into the Amazon website to confirm that the password you are using is actually correct?
I would also recommend logging out of the Fitbit app on your phone (also clear the apps cache if you are using Android) and then log back in again.

That is probably it, Singapore is not in the list. Yes, we have verified the password to be correct, I changed it and have re-logged in to my Amazon app and the website but not the FitBit app Amazon Connect Alexa setup.
So is it confirmed that the Amazon Alexa app needs to be installed on the phone where FitBit is installed as well? In the meantime I will find a way to download and install the app on my phone.

Things I have done:
- Updated my Location to United States in my Amazon account.
- Downloaded & installed Amazon App store .
- Downloaded & installed Amazon Alexa from Amazon App store.
From this point I still could not login using my existing Amazon account in the FitBit app.
The big confusion is the Amazon Login screen where you need to enter an email and a password, it is for you to create a new Amazon account and NOT to login, I managed to setup my Amazon Alexa in my FitBit app by entering a new email address (non-existing Amazon account) and a password.

Is there not a link at the bottom (of the page you entered the new email address in) to log in with existing account? It's been a long time since I set mine up and I'm reluctant to log out to check as it's been working very well for me.
Would it be possible to post a screenshot of the Alexa sign in page (sign up page) you are seeing.

Ok after tapping the Amazon Login button in the Alexa setup, it will show this page (see image on this screencast )
It's not so clear that I had to create another Amazon account for this part since I already have an existing account which I should be able to use it by logging in instead.

I think it requires an Amazon.co.uk account, because after entering an email that is not registered to Amazon, this new account was automatically created under amazon.co.uk domain based on the Welcome email that I received from Amazon.

In the screen you posted in your screenshot, you should be able to enter your Amazon credentials to log in. It's strange that it's saying it is not valid for you.
I think the next step I would try would be uninstalling the Fitbit app and reinstalling it again. It could be a case of a corrupted install. Of course it might not make a difference at all, but worth trying if you haven't already done so.
