I am getting a wierd message in the notification section that says notification section not working and is telling me to restart my phone. I have tried every trouble shoot but no success. Later I got to know that this issue has been prevailing since months! Why is there no solution yet? I just bought a fit bit versa 2 just so that I can receive my notification easily but I am nit getting the benefits out of the money I have spent! Is there any solution soon for it or should I return my watch?

@SunsetRunner Unfortunately, the phone you have is not on the Supported Devices List
That doesnt mean it wont work, however One Plus Phones dont work especially well with the Fitbit OS and some functions may not work. I suspect that is what is happening with yours
@GingaMinga72 The same applies for Huawei phones, except those listed as supported. They work - but some functions are troublesome. Notifications require a good connection between phone and tracker so it is often notifications that dont work.
Id suggest you both contact Support and see if they jave any tricks that might help.

Hi @SunsetRunner What phone are you using? It is not a problem affecting most supported devices and mine has always worked well.

It's a OnePlus 5 Android phone! I just received notification on the first day of my watch.. and that's it! Apart from calls I have not received any response from my phone to watch for any other apps!

Mine is the same. I have a Huawei PSmart 2019. I have restarted my phone and that worked once, I also uninstalled the app and re installed it and it worked but I'm not doing that everytime. Very annoying 😜

@NellyG thanks!! You cleared a lot of things for me!
Well if that's the case I am really confused if I should continue using this watch! I just hope fitbit team is considering to include other android devices as well because changing the phone for a smartwatch!? Duh! I don't digest that!

@SunsetRunner Yes, I can understand where you are coming from. When I was updating my phone I especially chose one that was on the list of Supported Devices so my fitbit worked better, but I wouldnt go out and buy a new phone if I didnt need it.

I lose notification connectivity every day. I have a Motorola Moto G Power phone. Here is what I have to do EVERY SINGLE Day to restore connectivity:
1) Go to phone settings/App/Fitbit/Storage press 'Clear Storage' & 'Clear Cache' buttons
2) Go to Fitbit app on phone
3) Login
4) Press 'Update Settings' button
5) Select 'Allow' for any prompts
6) Press your profile picture
7) Press 'Versa'
😎 Select 'Notifications'
9) Press 'Enable Notification Service'
10) Turn On Notification Access for Fitbit
11) Select Allow for any prompts
12) Go back to Versa screen and do a 'Sync'
At this point all notification connectivity should be restored. Until tomorrow, that is.
