Not able to understand the calorie count in Versa lite

Dear Fitbit team,

I am not able to undertsand the calorie count for a day in Versa lite.

wothout any workout or much of movement it shows some 1296 calories.

whereas when i run in a treadmill for 30mins the max calories count is 250.

Please help
