Santa gave my Versa as a Christmas gift and I love it for tracking my sleep.
Today I started back at my 4x weekly swimming class, and I see that for the most part it is measuring most of my laps. What it doesn't recognise is a swimming stroke which my instructor calls the KICK STROKE (where I am kicking my legs, but my arms are pretty immobile, stretched out in front of me, holding on to a float).
Today I actually swam 1,400 metres but because I did 350 metres of the kick stroke, my Versa only calculated 1,050 metres.
I realised the discrepancy right away, and guessed that when transferring the data to my Android, I'd be able to manually edit the lengths or metres (like I can edit the start and stop times of my sleep) but the swimming-session data on my cellphone appears not to be editable.
Might anyone suggest how I can go about rectifying this issue? Clearly, because the metres are not correct, my calories burned etc aren't correct either.....
Very grateful in advance for any suggestions.
Regards from the Dominican Republic

Hi, you wrote:

In principle the Versa is "right" cause you do not move your arms during that exercise. The Versa counts your steps by the movement of your arms, e.g. swinging fore- and backward during walking. If you do not move your arms in this way, the Versa is not able to recognize it as steps.

Kuzibri, thanks, I already all of what you told me.
What I was looking for was a way for me to manually update/correct the number of metres I swam.
