Not connecting when at a running race

I have no issue at all with my versa, when training(running) it connects to the Gps on the phone quickly everytime. Yet on two events when there are lots of other runners around the versa just wont connect, would it be the overwhelming bluetooth usage about me or the networks flooded, or is it a strange co incidence

@calamityclamuk It's great to see you in the Fitbit Community. Sorry for the delayed response.

I regret to hear that you've experienced difficulties to use connected GPS when there are other runners around.

The GPS signal is blocked when you're underground, near many tall buildings, or as a result of atmospheric effects. So whether many other users try to connect at the same time, the signal could be affected and make the connection difficult.

If the GPS signal is lost, your phone or Versa continually searches for a GPS signal as long as an exercise is in progress.
