I can't agree more.This new app sucks!!! I actually came to see if anyone else hated it as much as I do. I'm now looking for new watch that is not a Fitbit it's so bad.

Hi I contacted Dylan on Fitbit chat on Thursday due to my versa lite not working. He told me Fitbit would email me as there is a serious software problem???
I am still waiting. I can't use my Fitbit. It hasn't worked properly since the new update.
What are you intending to do about this? This product is no longer git for purpose through no fault of the customer.
I look forward to hearing from SOMEONE soon.

I am also having problems. My fitbit stopped syncing since yesterday. I am guessing because my android did an update and since then it won't sync. I followed all the instructions but it doesn't seem to pair with bluetooth. It is ridiculous this is still not resolved.

Can’t agree more. The new update is just AWFUL. I am very tired of having app freeze on exercise. And everyday restarting app and phone. The run summary rarely shows map of run and doesn’t have mile markers. Often HR is not shown or can’t scroll to itand HR takes too long to recalibrate or seems stuck. Weirdly the pace is often calculated wrong. It’s a simple math calculation. The Watch takes longer to find GPS and loses GPS throughout the run. HR takes too long to recalibrate.
After 7 years and 3 Fitbit Versas I am about ready to go to a different device.

Me too, plus one for my wife!
I lost 5 days of exercise recording last week. It’s ages since I’ve seen a map and the app continually freezes and often does not record exercise from the start. Totally useless

It's horrible. My fitbit (Versa 3) completely stopped syncing a few days ago, and it's unusable at the moment. I've done the chat multiple times, and everyone wants to do the same troubleshooting that doesn't work. Very frustrating!

Agree the new updated app is absolutely DREADFUL, from the layout, usability and function
One feature I used almost daily was uploading my sport to Strava (which used to be automatic if I temporarily changed my sport to run and then back again to eg bootcamp/weights etc) now you can’t even edit the type of sport anymore so this now can’t be done with ease!! I don’t understand why you can’t edit your sport anymore when tracking - why would this also be removed amongst other features
If this doesn’t improve by next month after 10 years with Fitbit I’ll be leaving

The main reason I got the Fitbit is for sleep tracking and since October 25th I have no sleep that's been tracked by this Fitbit versa three, the somewhat recently made former Pinnacle of the Versa model design
I get on the phone with someone from support and she's trying to tell me oh you didn't have it in sleep mode little Moon icon on the quick settings? You're supposed to have that on that and i was like "oh that's funny because I've had this watch for, I don't know-, maybe going on two or three years now(?).. and it never needed me to do anything to do automatic sleep detection and readouts before. so now you're telling me that I was doing something wrong, all this time, and it was working still? As some Canadian I know says, ' 'magine?' "
