Tracked total step count fine in the day’s summary (7k) but, when you look at the hourly, it’s totally missing about 5pm to midnight (showing about 1.5k). I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled app, restarted phone repeatedly, restarted Fitbit repeatedly, done all of these things in conjunction with each other and turned Bluetooth off and on during various incarnations of the above. No dice. Steps aren’t tracking properly for today either.

@SunsetRunner Perhaps the data didn't get synced. Is the data missing from your Dashboard on Fitbit.com as well? When was the last sync? You can check this information in your Fitbit mobile app or on Dashboard.

Last sync 11 mins ago. Missed data this morning until noon. I need to figure out how to post pics here in order to make sense.....
on the home screen in app, it shows the total steps over 7k for yesterday. But I know at least 2k of that happened between 6 and 8 pm. When you go into the hourly detail for yesterday, the graph shows only about 2.5k steps with zero data after 4 pm but then displays the total over 7k below the graph. If I touch the graph, it give some me the lover number.
Seems ti have tracked my sleep just fine last night but the data from Thursday is now mostly missing though it was displayed properly when I looked yesterday.

@SunsetRunner You say in the app. What I'm advising is taking a look at the dashboard on Fitbit.com to see if data looks different there. Of course, screenshots would be awesome. Check this post on how to attach pics.

Sorry, I skipped that bit. Online looks identical to the app. I’ll get to the pics when I can. Thank!

Alright, here we go. Screen shot from the app of my step count over 7K and then showing 1,955 when I go to the hourly. It doesn't allow me to upload photos as the link suggested but I found a way to fix that....

@SunsetRunner Thank you for the pics! So basically, your Versa did not track steps at all between 6-8 pm? And you weren't performing any non-step-based exercise? Try going to Wrist Placement settings for Versa in your Fitbit mobile app and toggle between Dominant and Non-dominant. Sync the tracker after each change. Reboot Versa just in case. If this does not resolve the issue, you might have to restore Versa to factory defaults (perform a factory reset). This will wipe your Versa, so please sync first. You will also need to delete your tracker from the Fitbit account (in the Fitbit mobile app) and your Paired Devices list in your phone Bluetooth settings. You can perform factory reset by going to Settings on your Versa, scrolling down to About and tapping Factory Reset. Once Versa resets to factory defaults (displays setup screen), you will need to set it up again by adding it as a new device in the Fitbit mobile app. Good luck!

Thanks much. Basically didn’t track in the graph between 5 pm and noon the following day but tracked the total number of steps just fine on the summary. I’m certain there were steps between about 6 and 8 pm. About 2,500. We were playing a VR video game that requires a lot of dance-type movements. The only thing I didn’t try was switching dominant/non dominant and restarting in between. I’m going to do all that stuff. It seems to be tracking appropriately now so strange stuff. Either way, I’m going to do it all to try to make sure I’m good to go now.
Thank you you so much for your help.
