Not receiving text notifications on Versa with update to ios 12

Has anyone had experience getting text notifications on ios 12? I have an iphone xs and also a iPhone 6s and I am having the same issue on both. I know the iPhone xs is not a compatible device yet with Fitbit, however I would have thought the 6s would be working. All other notifications (calendar, calls and apps) are working on both phones. I have tried removing the versa, re-pairing Bluetooth, deleting and re-adding the app and I also factory restored my versa. Super frustrating! Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have an iPhone 6S as well. Since September 1st, the notification feature (texts, emails & phone calls) on my Versa has worked a total of 3 or 4 days. In the last few weeks even the alarm feature has ceased to function. Pretty disappointing for a higher end device.

I recently upgraded from the 6s to the XS.  I had zero problems receiving notifications (text, phone calls, app) on my Versa with my 6s.  Now with my XS, I receive phone call and app notifications, but not text messages.   It is driving me crazy.   After trouble shooting with Fitbit I was told my phone is not compatible.  😞

I was told my phone wasn’t compatible as well but I still have the 6s and updated to iOS 12 and now text notifications aren’t working with that phone either. I am wondering if the issue is more with the new iOS vs. the actual phone. 

 

I was also told by support that this is a known issue and they are working on fixing it. 

 

I just hope it’s soon!

I am going to say it is an iOS 12 problem. I have a iPhone 7 and stopped getting text and messenger notifications on my Versa.

I just upgraded to iPhone XS Max and having the notification issues.  I’m hoping it will be fix soon!

Others on a Versa page I follow stated that all their notifications are working on their 8, XS, and, XS Max, which makes me believe it isn’t an iOS issue. I’ve tried everything and text notifications are still not working for me.

I wanted to update a fix that worked for me.  I created a completely new Fitbit account with a secondary email address and now all my notifications are working.  I of course lost my sleep and RHR history, which is disappointing, but it’s nice for it to be working again.
