Hi, I've just gotten the fitbit versa 2 and I'm struggling to get text and phone notifications on my fitbit. I've checked the list of compatible phones and a Samsung galaxy s7 edge is one. I've made sure my app and Android steps are up to date and my vibrate settings are on tested with an alarm. My fitbit is sending me hourly step reminders so my notifications are on. I've unpaired the device from Bluetooth and the app and repaired still to no avail and more bizarrely I get a notification on my versa of a missed phone call but not when it's ringing and no text message notifications. Can anybody help? Thanks

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the details that were shared in your post, your effort and patience troubleshooting this situation prior to posting are appreciated. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Versa 2 are correctly configured. After verifying this, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.

Hi everyone!  I received a Versa 2 this passed Holiday as well.  I have a Samsung S7 Edge.  I did all of the said things and text and call notifications have not worked.  I have looked at the provided links for over 3 hours and tried to fix it but no luck. I contacted support and was told it will be directed to a team for review.  As of to date, I have not heard a reply.

Hey were you ever able to get this resolved? I too have a Samsung galaxy s7 edge and can't get any notifications on my fitbit SENSE device I just purchased. In addition to this since taking all the set up steps I have noticed my phone has stopped providing notifications when it is locked of having received a txt or call. This is a really serious issue that is now making me miss calls and txts, when I purchased this device with the specific intention to making missing calls and texts less troublesome.
