Not receiving vibrations for text notifications after latest firmware update Galaxy S7.

Ever since the latest firmware update I no longer receive vibrations for text or app notifications. Only phone call notifications vibrate. This is extremely frustrating, as I used to reply to messages on my Versa lite and now I keep missing texts. I've tried reinstalling the Fitbit App, clearing the data, re-syncing, hard resetting my Fitbit. Restarting my phone, Restarting the bluetooth. But I'm still not getting text alerts. This worked before the firmware update. I'm using a Galaxy S7, Android 8 version. Any other suggestions? This is driving me insane.

I noticed since the firmware update, there's no more Notifications on or off setting in the menu any more on the Versa itself. Just a 'Do not Disturb' and a 'Sleep Mode' both of which are off.

@Bordenpears33 just to make sure, is the preview of messages enabled in your phone Settings? Can you see the notifications in your phone's notification bar and on the lock screen?

Yep. I can see the notifications on my phone. I'm also not too far from my Versa, because my phone is on my desk while I'm working. I have always vibrate checked in the Fitbit app for notifications, but since the firmware it's almost like the Fitbit is in a perpetual sleep mode (even though do not disturb and sleep are off).
