Not recognizing activity

I get exercise recognized on the day 1 of 5 but I get no time in activity. Also I’m not getting and auto recognition of exercise or walking. Played 18 holes of golf   Steps counted but activity exercise recorded.

Hi @Gordothebassman, welcome aboard! So your Versa isn't recognizing all of your days of exercise 'cause is not tracking your walk or your golf as Sport, right? Let me ask you something else, as you know, SmartTrack recognizes activities based on the continuous movement of your arms. Sometimes, motions such as placing your arms on the bar of a treadmill, or pushing a stroller while you walk, may interrupt SmartTrack, so that being said, are you walking with your arms on the treadmill? Or is it an outdoor walk? I'd like you also to take into consideration that  stopping in the middle of an exercise may interrupt the activity tracking. 

 

By default, SmartTrack recognizes an exercise that lasts at least 15 minutes. If your activities aren't being recognized, lowering the time auto-exercise recognition setting to 10 minutes may help ensure they record properly.

My versa is also not recording activity in the travker. It tracks all the steps and time, etc of my workout but does not set it in the daily activity tracker. If I manually add it it just doubles up the steps. I have reset my versa. I have also reset the tracker setting to 10 mins instead of 15 (fyi I walk at my treadmill 40-45 mins and do not rest my hands). Is there something else to try? I can just remove it from my view but seems like a good motivator and is is supposed to be a feature that works.

Hey @Lkgm, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! Thanks for taking the time to try some tips to fix this. If your exercise still not appearing on the Fitbit app after you sync, I'd like you to try with different workouts. Also, I'd like you to make sure that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app installed on your phone.
