Not registering the distance accurately

I’ve been doing the same 1.1 mile route for years now and all of a sudden it’s not tracking it accurately. It’s altered from 0.4to 0.2 to 0.5 tonight. My map my run on my phone has logged it correctly which is where my Fitbit is linked to. Any ideas please would be greatly appreciated. I’ve deregistered and loaded it back up. Thanks xx

@Ems5 Welcome to the Community. Sorry for the delayed reply.

Thanks for letting me know that your Versa hasn't been tracking your distance accurately. I appreciate the troubleshooting tried.

If you're using GPS, please try the following tips:

  1. Environmental factors, including tall buildings, dense forest, steep hills, and even thick cloud cover, can interfere with your device’s or phone’s ability to connect to GPS satellites. If the signal is blocked—either because you're underground or due to another reason—GPS won't work.
  2. Confirm that GPS is enabled on your device. For more information, see How do I turn on GPS for an exercise on my Fitbit device?
  3. For connected GPS, turn off Wi-Fi on your phone so that your phone doesn’t try to connect to available networks along your route.
  4. For connected GPS, verify the following requirements; then try the troubleshooting steps if necessary.

After checking the above, please follow the troubleshooting on this article: How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
