Not showing the correct distance for swimming

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi,

I am a swimmer and my Versa 2 is not showing the correct distance. For example, today I swam 1800m, and it showed that I swam 900m. Yesterday I swam 2000m and it showed that I swam 1050m.

Can anybody help with this?

Hi @Lea100 I would guess that it is not counting the number of laps you have done correctly. To help it register the end of a lap and start of another, pause the movement of your arms at the end of a lap as you turn. The watch needs you to tell it when you are turning and it seems to register this in the change of rythm of your arm movements.  I have found that if I kick, but rest my arms for a couple of seconds after I turn then mine is pretty well exact in its count.
