I just got my new watch, it has been almost 3 hours that I tried to fix this issue without success (I tried all the suggested solutions that are already described in this form). Can anyone help? if I cannot fix it I will return the watch. 

 

What did I do:

1. set all permissions and battery settings as described. 

2. re-install the APP including returning to factory settings. 

3. restart the device 1000 times. 

4. installed the last updates and APP version.

Hi @DavidTrr what phone do you have and OS and app versions are you running?  Have you looked here Versa help to see if any articles can help?

So did you you a phone restart?

In your list of things you did, I don't see that you did what the error message asked - a phone restart.  You say you restarted the device 1000 times but I'm guessing by 'device' your mean Fitbit tracker.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I purchased the versa lite today and am also having the same issues. Originally when I set the watch up I received call and Instagram notifications but now all have stopped working.

I have restarted the phone, cleared data / cache, enables battery setting, turned off manage automatically etc. but still no joy. 

 

Frustrating.

Have you tried restarting your phone as suggested in the app?

I am having the same problem with my iphone Xs.   I have restarted the phone and forced quit fitbit and bluetooth both and still can't get text notifications.  It does have caller id.

I have the same issue... however I have an ionic.

 

It's been working for over a year .. now all of a sudden I'm receiving the in app notification error that phone needs to restart.  I've done a factory reset .. same issue. 

 

Looks to me the latest Fitbit app version is buggy.
