Notifications Stopped working and No Wi-Fi networks in App.

Watch worked well up untill last night. Put it on the charger and now I cannot get any notifications. While trouble shooting I also discovered that I can not see any wifi networks in the Fitbit app list. I'm reading Playstore reviews about people having similar problems after a recent update. I need someone to help me fix this because I have enjoyed this watch up to this point and I don't want this Christmas gift from my wife to go in the trash. I'm also sure Fitbit doesn't want me telling all my NXP Semiconductor co-workers to avoid buying a Fitbit product. So fix this Fitbit.

I'm having the same issue and I just got mine July 1st.  Now my app is saying no device around. I can't do anything with it. This was a birthday gift.  I'm honestly just wanting to take it back and go get a galaxy gear watch thru my cell phone carrier

I think the key to setting it up is to make sure you set up your home wi-fi in the app first and it must be 2G. They won't work on 5G. Also know that at least for me, the wi-fi took a while to connect up in my app but it did. Hopefully, you'll be able to set it up. I originally used this for reference. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTtxwWTVktc

Wanted to update my post to report that over the weekend I deleted the app from my phone and reinstalled it. Afterward, my home wi-fi became available again so I logged into the app and set it back up. All my information reloaded and I didn't lose anything. I had to go back through and set up which apps to receive notifications but I'm pleased to report that I am now receiving notifications again. I can't say for everyone else but this has worked for me so far.

Also may make sure that it is in the charger when you set it up. I think it has to be in the cradle for the Wi-Fi in the watch to be ON and maybe that helps it set it up. Not positive on that but could be a little detail to try because I noticed in the Settings under 'About', that when you scroll down to see the IP Address, it says 'Wi-Fi Off' when it is not in the cradle so I think the only way it gets updates is when it is set in its cradle which probably turns on Wi-Fi.
