Notifications are not coming through my Versa 2 after the iOS update

I have a Versa 2 and after the lasted apple IOS 16.31.1 update I stopped getting text, call or calendar notification. I have done every troubleshoot that was suggested by the fitbit community and the fitbit customer service rep. Has anyone else experienced this ?

I have called the support team twice and they can not figure it out. I was told the versa 2 was broken and not in warranty so I purchased a  brand new one and it did the same thing. There is something wrong with my app not on my phone. it wont open. I think this is a fitbit / apple issue. 

I am disappointed because I truly love my fitbit and do not want to purchase and apple watch.
