Hi there,
I'm having the same issue as described here: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Other-Versa-Smartwatches/Notification-service-not-running/m-p/292594...
However the solution proposed there was temporary as every time I put my phone on airplane mode, restart or turn off the issue resurface again.
I have a Versa 2. Version 35.72.1.23
My phone is Android version 12 SP1A.201812.016
MIUI version 13
Model M2103K19PG
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi there, @El_Papa. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2.
If you're getting this error message “Notification service is not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker”, please note that we’re aware of it and are working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible.
I'd like to provide the following steps that actually work for Huawei users, but even if you have a different Android device, I'd still suggest giving them a try:
Note that you may see a message on your phone related to power consumption and apps scanning in the background. If you follow the steps in this message, the Fitbit app can’t run in the background and certain features may not work properly. Repeat the steps above to enable the Fitbit app to run in the background.

Hi @MarreFitbit ,
Thank you for taking the time to respond to my post. I really appreciate your comments. I have restricted Fitbit to run in the background but the problem still persists.
Hopefully I solution will be found soon ☺️
Regards,
El Papa.
