Notifications are not coming through my Versa 2

Hello, I just bought the smartwatch, and everything worked perfectly, the main reason for buying the product was to be able to receive and send messages, at first it worked perfectly but later it didn't. A warning appears in the notifications section. Notifications are not Running, you must restart your phone to reactivate the notification system on the monitor. I have already restarted the device and it doesn't work. How can I solve that

Hi there, @Saúl. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out.

If you're getting this error message “Notification service is not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker”, please note that we’re aware of it and are working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible.

However, if you have a Huawei phone you can try the following steps:

  1. On your phone, open the Settings app > Apps and notifications > Apps.
  2. Tap Fitbit > Battery.
  3. Turn off the Power-intensive prompt option.
  4. Tap Launch.
  5. Turn off the Manage automatically option, and turn on the Auto-launch, Secondary launch, and Run in background options.
  6. Tap OK.

Note that you may see a message on your phone related to power consumption and apps scanning in the background. If you follow the steps in this message, the Fitbit app can’t run in the background and certain features may not work properly. Repeat the steps above to enable the Fitbit app to run in the background.

Hope that does the trick for you.

Thanks for replying, unfortunately I still can't solve the notification problem. In fact my phone is a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8

I have the same problem like a person above. Notifications are on for an hour or two after installing app again or deleting the watch from the app and syncing it again. Then it's again saying that that notifications are not running and tells me to turn off and on my phone. I did it and it doesn't work.

I did everything you told, plus I enabled everything on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, so MiUI won't turn off my app, but it still doesn't work.

Hello,

Is there an update on this at all?

I have had the same problem as previously mentioned for 2 weeks and tried all the steps numerous times.

For me it's not Versa fault, but FitBit app and MIUI on Xiaomi. I turned on and off some things, don't ask me what, and it's working so far. It's like it needed to be reset and synched back on several times before it started working properly. For now it's working for a day. We will see how good it will be

Yeah!, actually did the same, turned off and on things on MIUI setting, Apps & notifications, and also Apps Permissions. So now it's working properly.
