Notifications are not coming through my Versa 2

I started noticing the other day I am not getting any text notifications or other app notifications on my watch. It shows calls and hour steps and that is it. What do I need to do? I've re set up in the app. Restarted watch and phone and re paired. I'm a little upset at this

I have been having this issue for a week now. Resets on both watch and phone have been done, also I have unpaired then re-paired the watch. Calls come through but texts have seized and it is irritating.

If your device is within Fitbits specifications and you can still get the app from the play store, and you were effected by that last app update. Don't touch the Versa, remove the Fitbit app on your device, remove the Bluetooth settings, reinstall app. You shouldn't have to re-setup the device, just log back into your account and attempt sync, it should ask for permissions, goto notifications and it should ask for permission, once allowed notifications should work. This has worked for some, not all.

Fitbit Ionic 72.1.15 (recalled), Fitbit Sense 128.6.17 and Pixel Watch 2 BW1A.250605.004.

Thank you for this, I have been struggling for over a week to get my notifications back and this worked for me! I have a versa 2 with an Android phone in case anyone wanted to know. Hopefully this helps others as well!

I was having the same problem for a week, I followed all the troubleshooting steps and nothing was working. Today I uninstalled the fitbit app (not delete, uninstalled) and unpaired Bluetooth. Went to the play store and downloaded the app again, signed back in to my account and still nothing was working. I saw the option to set up a new device and thought what the hell and clicked on set up a device. And went through all the steps as if I was connecting a whole new device again. Gave it permissions needed, paired the Bluetooth and rechecked the notifications I wanted. So far it has seemed to work 🤞

For reference I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE and A Versa 2
