I've just got a new Samsung S24 but I can't get my messages or calls on my versa 2.

Hi @Tidyrockchick - there can be problems when changing phones.

Make sure the old phone is off.

In the new phone, set-up notifications again as you have a new copy of the Fitbit App and make sure the Fitbit App can run in background and that the apps are able to create notifications on the status bar of the phone.

Make sure the watch isn't in sleep or do not disturb mode.

Hi there, @Tidyrockchick. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post. We're here to help you!

I agree with @Guy_'s tips and recommendations. As a first approach, I'd suggest making sure that your Versa 2 is no longer connected to your old mobile device as this might be preventing your Fitbit device to receive notifications from your new phone.

With that being said, please follow the steps below in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Versa 2 from your old phone's Bluetooth and also from the new phone.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your new phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa 2 again.
  • Set up notifications on your Versa 2 again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa 2 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.
