I noticed that my watch isn't connecting for calls and notifications.

The Versa 3 controls app seems to have disappeared from my phone and I am unable to find it in Playstore. Any ideas?

Hi there, @LindaCostin. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 3.

Please note that Versa 3 Controls might be listed as “Not Connected” in the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone. When you receive a phone call, the controls automatically reconnect. This feature requires more frequent charging. For more information, see How do I take on-wrist phone calls with my Fitbit smartwatch? or Why don’t on-wrist calls work on my Fitbit device?

Also, as @Guy_ has suggested, if you're not receiving notifications please make sure that sleep or DND mode are not turned on as these features may prevent your notifications to come in. For more detailed information, see Why are notifications delayed or missing?

Hope this helps.

Hi @LindaCostin - the most likely cause of not receiving messages is that the watch settings have changed.

Swipe the watch face to the right to get to Quick Settings and make sure that neither Sleep nor Do not disturb is enabled.

Versa 3 controls is a Bluetooth entry on the phone used for calls, it normally is not active or needed for notifications and is not something to download.

To recreate the Versa 3 controls Bluetooth entry [not that it is necessary unless you are taking a call] try

  • logout of the Fitbit App, [clear the storage cache and force stop the App for Android] .
  • Turn of the phone Bluetooth, wait a few minutes, then restart the watch and phone.
  • Turn on Bluetooth and login to the App, it should recreate the Bluetooth entries.
