I keep having an error message saying that the notification service isn't running and a phone restart is required, but when I restart my phone it doesn't fix it. I have tried unpairing and repairing my Versa, turning Bluetooth on and off, turning my phone on and off. The only thing that seems to fix it is uninstalling the fitbit app on my phone and reinstalling it again, but I am having to do this everyday now to fix the error which is a pain. Can anyone help? I have a Huawei p30 if that helps at all

Hello there, @ejmc_x. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 3 before reaching out.
If you're getting this error message “Notification service is not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker”, please note that we’re aware of it and are working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible.
Since you have a Huawei phone, as @SunsetRunner has suggested, please follow the steps below in the order listed:
Note that you may see a message on your phone related to power consumption and apps scanning in the background. If you follow the steps in this message, the Fitbit app can’t run in the background and certain features may not work properly. Repeat the steps above to enable the Fitbit app to run in the background.
Hope that helps.

Hello @ejmc_x
Have you checked to make sure your using a compatible mobile device to run Fitbit. You can check here: https://www.fitbit.com/global/us/technology/compatible-devices
Either way I think you’ll find this article interesting here: https://piunikaweb.com/2021/07/27/fitbit-is-aware-of-the-notification-service-is-not-running-error-m...
The workaround suggested in the article:
The workaround involves switching off the Power-intensive prompt option found in the Battery section of the Fitbit app Apps and notifications settings.
After switching off the Power-intensive prompt option users must select the Launch option and also switch off the Manage automatically option.
Once done, users have to switch on the Auto-launch, Secondary launch, and Run in background options then select OK.
😃Please let me know if this answers your question
Update: Did that work for you? Let me know
