Can anyone give me ideas on how to pair my versa lite to receive texts messages and phone calls.  It was working and then it stopped.

I can receive phone calls but not text messages.  I've tried everything!  I've chatted with several people from Fitbit and they couldn't get it to work. I even talked to somebody on the phone who tried to help and that didn't work. They sent me a coupon to get a new fitbit! I don't want to have to buy a new fitbit. It worked fine before. I can get phone calls but not texts. Nothing with my phone has changed. This is very frustrating.

Hi there, @Ke26. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa Lite before reaching out. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products and services into consideration.

Have you verified if the "Preview new messages" option is enable? To do so, open the Message+ app, then go to "Settings", then "Notifications", then "In-app notification settings", then enable "Preview new messages".

I tried everything to make my Fitbit versa lite pair with my phone like it used to, then by chance, my phone had a full enough charge to start the automatic update, and once that was in place, the Fitbit was able to receive texts and calls again.  Thank you for all the advice.
