I just upgraded my android phone and now I can't get my texts and messages to show on my Versa. I didn't change any of my fitbit settings and the fitbit is synced to my phone and everything else works fine. I followed all the steps to get the notifications to work but no luck. Can anyone help?

Before anything else, I'd like you to make sure that the mobile phone you're using is included here Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?
Please keep in mind that when a device is not supported and does not meet the require OS we cannot guarantee its functionality with the Fitbit app. It might work at a certain time and then it can stop working out of nowhere after an update. This is because the app is not optimized to that device and any change could impact the performance.
In addition to the steps you've tried, even if you don't own a Huawei P20 Lite, I'd recommend following these steps How do I use the Fitbit app on my Huawei P20 Lite phone?

Thanks for your response. I actually have a Samsung 20 note which is an upgrade from the Samsung 10 I had previously. My new phone doesn't show up on the list but the fitbit app works fine on the phone other than the notifications. It sounds like if you upgrade your phone you're out of luck. Is that correct?
