I am getting so irritated with FITBIT. I have had FITBIT watches for about 10 years, but when this watch completely fails, I am switching to another smart watch. This past month has been nothing but a headache. First, my battery was draining from full to empty within 6 hours. I checked the web. Their solution? Delete the app and reinstall. That didn't work so I let it drain all the way down, removed my device from the app, deleted the app, recharged my watch and let it stay on the charger for several hours past 100%, reinstalled the app, added back my watch and turned off quick view, reminders, notifications, etc. It still runs down in less than 48 hours, but it seemed to helped. Now, I suddenly start getting text notifications on my watch. I check my notification setting and it is turned off. I check the web and their solution? Delete the app and reinstall. I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO DELETE THE APP SEVERAL TIMES EVERY MONTH TO GET THE PRODUCT TO WORK CORRECTLY!

Regarding the battery short life, in general, it is recommended to follow the recommendations listed in this article to improve or extend battery life. There are a few features that would make the battery drain faster than usual, even in one day. Some of these features are:
If this doesn't apply to you, another step that has been helpful for other users having battery draining problems is the three pulse restart procedure using the charging cable. This should also help with the problem you mentioned with the display:
As for the notifications, may I know which notifications are still coming through? Are they text messages, email, etc.? All notifications?
