Notifications aren't working properly on my Versa 2

I've been getting my notifications from my phone on my Versa 2 regularly (which is shocking) but if I try to interact with these notifications something comes up like "Unable to complete request. Please try again on phone." And that's for any notification. Even just to mark something as "read". If I try to respond to a message, it'll let me text to talk (sometimes) but when it goes to send that message pops up. I've tried turning off and on both the watch and my phone and disconnecting my phones bluetooth and reconnecting and I'm not sure what to do. The watch itself is fairly new. I had to get a full replacement through my insurance a few months ago. I would just try to get another replacement my my warranty is up.

Hi there, @StarrS93. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the inconvenience with your Versa 2 before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from.

Please note that this is an expected behavior. When I press open message on my watch, only that message closes, as it should. I pick up the phone, unlock the screen, the message is the next thing I see. If you press open, you are telling the Versa Lite to open the notification on the phone. If you aren't near the phone, don't press open.

As a friendly reminder, please know that for text messages, name or number of the sender and the message appear. If there is a longer notifications, tap the notification to see the full message. Note that if you clear a notification from your device, the notification is removed from your phone's notification center. If you clear a notification from your phone, the notification is removed from your device.

Notifications tips:

  • To delete 1 notification, tap the notification > Clear.
  • To delete all notifications at once, swipe to the top of your notifications and tap Clear All.
  • For longer notifications, tap the notification to see the full message.
  • To exit the notifications screen, press the back button or swipe up.
  • If you clear a notification from your device, the notification is removed from your phone's notification center. If you clear a notification from your phone, the notification is removed from your device.
