Notifications icon always has red dot and won't clear

I am using the fitbit app with the Versa and iPhone 7. In the app at the bottom of the screen is dashboard, challenges, etc. Notifications has a red dot beside it. I have no notifications, but it won't go away. Can't add a screen as none of your options for that show up on iPhone. (Please don't tell me to click the camera icon)

Hi, normally when you press that icon and see if there are messages or not and go back, the red dot is gone. Try this: logout of this Fitbit app, close it, wait for a little while and restart it and login again and see if the problem is solved. Normally it should.
