So my first fitbit versa erroneously counted steps overnight while it was not on my wrist. It was placed on top of my coffee table and there was nothing vibrating it. So they sent me a replacement. That replacement had an issue with the battery. It would be down to 50% by noon. So they sent me a replacement, which is the one I have now. Last night it also logged steps while I was not wearing it. Over 2,000 of them in fact. I will say that Fitbit has excellent customer service but at some point I think they need to realize there is some sort of really bad issue with the Versa and throw in the towel. I will likely be going back to an Apple watch or Garmin Forerunner. I use my fitbit to track my running and now I'm concerned that the mileage may not be accurate, which is not good when you are training for something specific.

It took me 3 Versa units before I returned mine for a refund.
