Nursing watch suggestion

I’d like to see a clock face developed with nursing in mind. Lots of nurses use Fitbits but a lot don’t because the clock faces aren’t ideal. The ideal nursing clock face would be analog with a highly visible seconds hand while also having a digital clock visible using the 24 hour clock or military time. This would be ideal for counting respirations or pulse AND would be ideal for seeing at a glance what exact time a medication was given or a seizure began. Add in heart rate and/or steps and you’d make an awful lot of nurses very happy...that and I knows some non-nurses who’d be happy with it too!

In general, making modifications for site users is very nice on the part of the site administration and developers. Not every forum can afford it. The main thing, of course, is to have a qualified programmer with you who can implement an interesting new feature on the site. By the way, it seems to me that nurses in nursing homes do not have much free time to use this site. More often than not, in places like nursing care Minneapolis, nurses try very hard to ensure that everything is good for all patients and because of this, nurses simply do not have free time to relax. So I don't know exactly why this watch is needed here and I doubt that it will help attract nurses to this site.

@LiliyaFitbit -

It seems to me that what the original poster @vbklippenstine and @JohnieVilson as well as all of the other medical professionals out there need is a simple Custom Watch Face  - something the FitBit development staff should be able to deliver easily - some of them could probably do it in their sleep.

Surely someone on staff knows a Nursing Professional, either personally or as a consultant to the business that could be questioned as to the best presentation of the data on a watch face. I'm sure the previous posters would be happy to assist.

The current Versa 2 firmware allows for up to a 60 second timeout on wakeup which should be plenty of time to take a pulse or respiration count, unless your consultants would suggest an "Always On" display with all of the pertinent data being displayed - poor battery.

Who knows, my next trip to my Cardiologist may include seeing a Versa 2 on his assistant's wrist. Well, maybe my March visit, since my next appointment is in 15 days.

A couple years ago Fitbit took into the consideration the requests of the medical comunity and designed a face that meets these requirements.

Always on mode that can be easily enabled, a quick 1 button stopwatch with both analog and digital that is always on.

Also several users have designed clocl versions for the medical field.
