Nutrition info not updating and Versa is not staying connected

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I see the nutrition scanning and editing is still an issue on the forum.  I followed the steps listed and changed in my dashboard but it won't update on the meal tracker side.  Frustrating.

Also, versa 2 still won't stay connected to Bluetooth.  Yes, I've followed all steps given and suggested.  I get tired of having to turn versa off and on just to keep it connected.

Can I just say it's a good watch for some things but still seems to have a lot of issues.

Hi @flitewings, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community.

Regarding the scanning feature issue that your app is experiencing, I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolve before contacting our forums.

Please make sure that your phone has the most recent Fitbit app version installed. if the app is up to date, try logging out of the app, restart your phone, open the app and log in. After this, try the scanning feature and see if the issue gets fixed.

Regarding the syncing issues, please let me know what troubleshooting steps you have tried so I can avoid providing the same information.

In the meantime, try the troubleshooting steps listed in this help article. This article may contain steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed accordingly.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

I have figured the nutrition information one out.

However, the fitbit versa 2 doesn't stay connected at all times. I have to
go through the steps listed in the "follow these guidelines' as in go to
settings, about, shutdown, yes, then turn it back on to reconnect to my
iphone. It seems though this is a recurring issue with people using the
versa 2. I have to do this 3 to 4 times a day. Kind of annoying!

Thank you,
Flitewings

Hi @flitewings, thank you for getting back and trying the recommended troubleshooting steps. I'd like you to try one more workaround which has been helpful.

Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.

Finally, set up your watch from scratch and see if the issue gets fixed.
