Old account new fitbit

Hi I haven’t used my old Fitbit for years. I now have a Versa 2 but can’t update my app to the new one and can’t sync my Versa 2

Hello @Nickyb25 and welcome to the help forums.  If it's been years since you used you last Fitbit, it's possible that your phone can't support the app.  Is your phone on the list of compatible smartphones and tablets?   If you set up and synced your previous Fitbits using a computer and Fitbit Connect, you need to know that Fitbit Connect does not support the Versa 2.

Hi
I have an iPhone 10. I can log on to my old account but can’t find away to change to the Versa 2
I assumed that it would flash up and sync with the push of a button

I'll assume your Versa 2 still has the message Fitbit.com/setup. 

Let's open the app. I'll assume it has been updated, we will tap in the upper left to go to your account. 

You will see a "Setup new Device". Tap this and follow the prompts.
