On wrist-calls on Versa 3 aren't working

New versa 3 won’t pair with versa 3 controls. Phone Bluetooth and app are paired. Unable to make outgoing calls. Can receive calls.

Before anything else, please check the following requirements:

If you continue to have issues, try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. On your phone, turn Bluetooth off and back on.
  2. Restart your Fitbit device. For instructions, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  3. Remove Versa 3 Controls from the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone.
  4. Set up on-wrist calls again. For instructions, see How do I set up on-wrist calls on my Fitbit device?

Actually the support team was not helpful at all and ended the chat before my issue was resolved. I have to say I am not at all impressed by the fitbit service/help I have received.

 

Update: The issue is still unresolved

I have done EVERY single step listed with support already. Everything is paired properly now thanks to a YouTube video. But the problem remains that I CAN RECEIVE  calls and texts but am UNABLE TO SEND.
