On wrist-calls on Versa 3 aren't working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have gone through all the Fitbit checklists to get my watch synced for on wrist calls. The Versa controls in my blue tooth list does not stay connected. The menu on the watch itself says no devices found? I need help as I cannot get on wrist calls/texts. Is there someone that can talk me through this? ( It seems to have started when I deleted my app and reinstalled it

Hi @mom42ol - if you reinstall the app the on-wrist calls may have to be setup again.

In the Fitbit App, click the profile photo and then the device photo.

Go to the Bluetooth and click on the gear icon and turn on the elements,

then in the Fitbit App click on-wrist calls and make sure that it connects, without giving an error.

Note Versa 3 controls won't stay connected, as it's only used when needed.

Higher up on that screen enable the other things you want to receive.

If your watch is not syncing have a look here Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Note also there is an option in watch Settings, Vibration and audio, Music controls & on-wrist calls that can be turned on.

Hi there, @mom42ol. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 3 before reaching out.

As @Guy_ has mentioned, note that Versa 3 Controls might be listed as “Not Connected” in the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone. When you receive a phone call, the controls automatically reconnect. This feature requires more frequent charging.

If you haven't done so yet, please try the following:

If you continue having issues, try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. On the phone, turn Bluetooth off and back on.
  2. Restart the Fitbit device once gain. For instructions, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  3. Remove Versa 3 Controls from the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone.
  4. Set up on-wrist calls again. For instructions, see How do I set up on-wrist calls on my Fitbit device?

Hope that helps.

Versa 3 controls is back...on my list of paired devices that shows my car, versa 3 controls and a few others. For what ever reason it also shows a available (not paired) device which is my Samsung TV, not my Samsung phone. Not sure if that is pertinent
