Only screen clock working. Otherwise the screen is dead

Hi all

I've a Versa 3

It's 14 months old. It's relatively expensive and not old at all. About a week back the screen has stopped displaying any information.

It does display the clock though- as a screen saver but no statistics. I can't access the menu. It's nothing but a watch.

However the sensors are working. And if i put it on my wrist, it does record my movement. But i need to check my app every time.

No longer a smart watch.

Can any one please help me.

I've tried syncing, trying to change clock face, letting the battery drain. Nothing helps.

HI @Shaivi  - some options to try.

  • long press on screen - depending on firmware it may start the Clocks App
  • if the watch is syncing, in the Fitbit App, click profile photo, device photo, Quick view on, then sync, and/or
  • swipe face to the right, to get to Quick Settings, turn on wrist movement and turn off Always on, then raise your wrist to see the face
  • restart it properly once by, How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  • then if the screen comes back swipe watch face left, go into Settings and Shutdown at the bottom, wait 10 seconds then place on the charger to restart it and charge it.

If nothing works you can contact Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.

Also reachable via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support.

If it is under warranty still and found faulty it may be better to take it to the shop for a new replacement, rather than accepting a refurbished replacement from Fitbit.
