Only see simplified sleep score

Just started this week - I only see a simplified sleep score on my Versa2.  Up until that time I received a sleep score, sleep stages, etc.  Did fitbit remove this?  If so, I am super disappointed.  That is one of the reasons I bought the Versa2.

It's not been removed but there are some situations where the more detailed analysis cannot be calculated. Fitbit say:

"There are a few scenarios where you might see your sleep pattern (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake) instead of sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

For more information about why you see your sleep pattern, tap or click the sleep record that shows your sleep pattern."

I've tried all that stuff.  After further investigation it appears the only way to get sleep score details back again is to purchase fitbit premium.  What a rip off!  The sleep information is one of the reasons I bought the fitbit and now they take it away and make you pay for it again. Very disappointed in fitbit that they would do this!

Wondering if it's only effecting IOS users?  Since Google bought fitbit have they kept it for Android users and removed it for use Apple users?  I know someone that has had their fitbit longer than me and are a Android/Google user and they have the full blown sleep info.

Sleep score is still available without premium but you do get extra information if you have a premium subscription.

"See your nightly sleep score in the Fitbit app for better insight into your sleep quality. To see additional details, including your sleeping heart rate, purchase a Fitbit Premium subscription"

The google purchase of fitbit has yet to complete and I don't think they have removed anything for iOS users.

Are you sure sleep score is still available without premium? My premium trial just ended and all my sleep scores have disappeared since the beginning of time. 🤔
