Will Fitbit add a way to track jumping rope to the new Versa through the tracker or by adding a jump rope app such as Skeep (which is free) to the list of available apps?

You could also log it on the watch in the Workout mode and rename it after it syncs

I doubt it. Use workout mode and set up a Custom exercise so you can change it once it syncs

Hello @FitRN2, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board! It's great to see you around too @WendyB, thanks for all your help. Smiley Happy

@FitRN2, we really appreciate our members's input and feedback and I would like to thank you for yours. Our team is always looking to improve the Fitbit experience which is why I went ahead and found 2 suggestions, one from @Sgmangan to add "rope jump" as a new exercise in the app and one from @BrianHenry to add a dedicated Jump Rope app to FitbitOS. Please feel free to add your vote and comment, this is the best way to make your voice heard and get the attention from our development team.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

I appreciate your participation in the Fitbit forums, I understand how important for you is to have a dedicated jump rope app for the Ionic. Please feel free to check @BrianHenry's suggested idea to add a dedicated Jump Rope app to FitbitOS, FitbitOS is used by the Ionic and Versa. Feel free to add your vote and comment, this will let our development team how much this feature is wanted.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

I also agree that we need a jump rope app, and not only for iOS

I appreciate your participation in the forums, please note that @BrianHenry's suggested idea it's about adding a dedicated jump rope app for FitbitOS. FitbitOSis the dedicated operating system running on the Ionic and Versa, which is not related to iOS or Android.

I'm really sorry for the misunderstanding, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

There's option for jump rope if add manual instead of auto track. So I hope in future, Fitbit apps development team will either setup auto track for jump rope like they did for running or create apps specially for jump rope.

I also would like to see a jump rope choice.  JR is growing in popularity because the limited time needed for maximum benefit.  I wish Fitbit would reconsider

I purchased Miband 5 band and it has Jump rope as an exercise and it is excellent. Love it. I moved from Fitbit to Miband 5 and it is only $35.

Sorry, new user trying to get this right. My main exercise is jump rope now. Just bought the charge 4.  Is it possible to see 'jump rope' as a workout option?  Silly that jump rope is not a standard option as it is in virtually every weight loss tracker - my fitness pal, for example.   This is taking way too long to set up a simple exercise.  Please advise best way to track this exercise.  Thanks.

I have to agree with Testfit.

I have a Charge 5 and Miband 6 and I prefer the Miband. The strap broke on the miband so I gave the fitbit another go and it's just annoying. Ugly watch faces, no weather app, flashlight, etc. During an exercise I can only switch the stats forward, so I need to swipe like 7 times to get back to the previous stat.

I don't know what is Fitbit doing, I can see so many old posts on the forums that never get fixed.
