Dear fitbit admin/ technical, please include "rock climbing" as an exercise shortcut. It is missing. Thank you.

Welcome to the forums!
You can vote and comment here. Add in the comment you want it for Versa as well
https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/Rock-climbing-activity-for-Ionic/idi-p/2216416
There are so many different exercises it would be hard to add all. Set up a custom activity and when doing the activity use workout mode. When it syncs you can rename it
Check out the discussions boards! A lot going on and I'm sure you have some contributions as well!
Hope to see you around!

Hi Wendy,
There is no reply button for me to vote or comment in your provide link. I would love to vote for "rock climbing"as a shortcut exercise. This sport is getting more and more popular. I believe adding it in the list will be an added feature of fitbit.

According to the discussions I've read I can add rock climbing as an activity but when I did that through the menu on my smart phone it does not show up on my Versa Fitbit watch is there something I'm missing? All I want to do is to be able to flick through the menu on my watch when I get to the climbing gym and have it track my activity - heart rate, number of steps taken (each move up the wall would be considered one) etc.. I'm not so worried about total distance covered per se of feet up the walls but maybe the number of laps can be tracked as well. More and more people are climbing both indoors and outdoors and I'd like to be able to track my activity from week to week, month to month. If this in not available how do we get the administrators/powers to be at Fitbit to make this a priority in adding it?

@x1aoshanLooks like it is closed to comments but you can still vote. Just click on the Thumb Up Image
@lilbitmoIt will not show up on your watch. The only ones that do are assigned by Fitbit. That's why I said use workout mode. Then when it syncs you can rename it to what ever you want

But will that provide an accurate calorie assessment?

yes, it’s definitely missing. I’ve got the inspire HR. Rock climbing would be a great ad on for logging my workouts.
