Over tracking HR and active minutes

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

For the last 3 days my fitbit has had my HR consistently at 170+ BPM and has been tracking over 500+ minutes of activity throughout the day. I workout regularly but i use my app to track my lifts but my fitbit has been tracking activity even when I'm sedentary. I have never had an issue like this before with my fitbit. I have done a soft reset of my fitbit and have completely delete it from my phone and re-added it. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @sgarner90. I am sorry for the delayed response.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing that your heart rate reading is higher than it should be and it results in high number of your active minutes. Thank you for your efforts to resolve the issue by restarting your device, deleting and re-adding it to your phone. Heart rate can be affected by several factors including air temperature, stress level, physical body position, and medication use. See our help article for more information: How do I track my heart rate with my Fitbit device?

I've sent your case to our Support team so they can investigate further and provide a solution. Keep an eye on your inbox.
