I need help. I just received the Fitbit Versa watch for about 3 days and it doesn't correctly count steps or calories burned. 

 

I will return it if this issue can't be resolved.

How does my Fitbit device calculate calories burned? 

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

It says I took 9,205 steps and burned over 2,000 calories. I highly doubt that, because I stayed indoors and didn't have much movement.
