Pace readout fluctuates wildly on my Versa

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

When I walk the pace readout is either blank or fluctuates within seconds from 22 up to 99 and everything in between. This started 2 days ago. No active minutes are being recorded. I have tried shutting down. No effect. I can’t find this addressed anywhere. I have changed settings for walking to automatically record laps, have changed it to never record laps. Not difference. Also, i just walked for 4 minutes, the first walking of the day and I got a notification congratulating me for having completed my 7th day (which it was) of exercise. Help!! I did the update yesterday but the problem existed before this and continues.

@Rosalitaspinoza, I'm sorry for the late response. However, I would like to follow up on on the readout fluctuation that your Fitbit Versa is experiencing. By the way, thank you for trying the workaround you mentioned above before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Please sync your watch before this in order to avoid losing current data. After this, set up your Versa as a new device and monitor it during the next 24 hours in order to see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
