I am considering buying a Fitbit Versa and use instead of my phone when running. The only thing I'm worrying about is if its possible to connect it to my earphones Jabra Sport Pulse without the phone as a go-between. Anyone knows? 

 

TL:DR Can I connect a Fitbit Versa directly to Jabra Sport Pulse, without having to bring my phone?

It might also be worth posting in that other thread to ask if they have any news to offer.

 

Given the versa and ionic run the same firmware and use much the same hardware I would expect the compatibility to be the same on both.

That doesnt bode too well.. The latest post in that thread was from april though, and it seemed to be only Ionic users, so maybe there's still hope since I want the Versa, and there was a firmware upgrade in May. Maybe they addressed the issue?
