Pair with two phones?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi folks,

can the watch be paired with different devices (at once/without resets)? I have two mobiles, one with iOS from my employer and another with Android. The iOS one I always use during business hours or business trips. For the rest of the day I use my Android.

Will it work? With Charge 2 it wasn't very reliably. I often had problems with syncing, so in the end I used it only with my Android device.

@DaSpook Hi! Nice to see you here on the Versa board. Smiley Happy

That's a great question! You shouldn't have any issues with syncing Versa through two different mobile devices. If you are using Supported devices, as long as you are logged into the app on each device your watch should sync. Now, if you want notifications from both that's when it gets tricky because you will be paired with just one device. Hope this helps!

@AlessFitbit Thank you for your reply. I don't carry two phones all day long, in that case it would be a very easy choice. 😉

That means, that I will have to pair /unpair my Versa every time I switch the phone if I want a full working Versa/Phone combination (notifications and as well syncing)? If the Versa ist just paired to one device, it will sync only with that device.

In fact I'll need such an workflow to get it work, right?

1. Sync Versa with device A

2. Unpair Versa with device A (Bluetooth Options of Phone A)

3. Open app on Device B

4. Sync the app on Device B

5. Pair Versa with Device B (Bluetooth Options of Phone B)

6. Sync Versa with device B

And of course back after Work. I'll tried this several times with my Charge 2, it was not very reliable. Often had problems. Mostly I had to uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit App to get it work again.
