For the past month or so I've had trouble with my phone app screen going white while tracking my running. I have to reopen the app but the app is still tracking. When I finish my workout, the app will not stop tracking and freezes up. I have to shut my phone down to make it stop. I am running my intervals on my watch and the running feature on my phone to track my runs. I've updated both my watch and my app but it still failed to track my run properly during my last race.

Our team has recently released a new version of the Fitbit app which can be downloaded here.
Whether this doesn't help, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app.
