My Versa 3 is just 15mths old and the pin broke.
wrote in to Fitbit Support and they told me to get another watch (offering 35%) as it is no longer under warranty.
All i need for the watch is just the pin holder/adapter/connector.
It is still in perfect condition. why do i need a new watch????

Hi @denojo there are no repairs available for these devices.

It's not the charging.
It's the tab that is attached to the watch which grips the strap. The part where we can push downwards to unlock the grip and change the strap.
This tab contains the pin which holds itself to the watch. This is the pin broken

@denojo - you can simply buy a new strap quite cheaply for a Sense or Versa 3.
Such as

the pin is broken. If u can understand from this picture, you would realize that it's not about the strap.

@denojo some people with the Charge 4 and the same problem with the strap pin breaking have found a solution on Amazon. There is, at least for the Charge 4, a band that entirely encompasses the pebble part of the Fitbit, so you can still use it. The only downside is that it has to be removed in order to charge the device, but at least you could still use it. You'll need to check Amazon and see if this is available for your Versa 3. It might be worth trying if you don't want to get a new device.

I found this . Quite ugly for my taste but it's what it is.
Quite bad that Fitbit doesn't offer any repairing for such a problem (problem that shouldn't even exist actually)

Thank you for the kind suggestion.
Just disappointed with Fitbit's after sales service.
I'm told by Fitbit to buy a new watch after spending $300+

@denojo - ah, the strap holder mechanism.
As @Odyssey13 says best to chat with support via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & support, Contact Customer support.
Also any watch shop may be able to repair the band fastener.
