The pin head inside my brand new Fitbit Versa broke off and I have tried everything to try to remove it. I tried tweezers, small scissors and a paperclip. Nothing works!
Any suggestions?
Fitbit support will not help because I did not purchase the band through Fitbit.

Thank you all for your tremendous help. I tried the straight pin and paper clip in the hole. I think the shaft was bent, so I could not get that to work. An exactly knife was too flimsy -- but the butter knife did the trick! I had to find a thin one that could fit underneath. I did no damage to the watch and my new watch band looks really great.
A million thanks for all your good advice!

Thx

Thank you so much for this tip! The only thing that helped!! It saved me getting a new device as fitbit didn't want to solve the issue they just offered to give me a discount on a new device.

I had the same problem with my third party band. And after reading everyone's ideas here, I took the advice to find the original pin hole and insert something and was able to pop the band off ! Thank you !

Remember the pin head is only to push the whole pin over. Use a Stick pin, or clothes pin and just push it straight and when it moves itll pop off. I just got mine off after looking for a solution. I did it like this: (See below)

Thank you! Pointy tweezers in the pin hole worked like a charm

mine tool. Took it to a watch repair shop and they cannot remove the broken pin. Went to a jeweler and they could not remove the pin either. Trying to find a watch band the watch can pop into. Can only find them for the Fitbit Blaze, not the Versa. Very sad...

After so much grief, I finally got my straps freed! At first the straps themselves on both ends broke off at the base, then after an entire year I decided to attempt to remove the connecting pins, only for one of them to snap off! Despair sunk in, but then I used a pointy knife and it did the trick 😄

I just got my broken pin out! I played with a non broken pin to observe the "give". Then I pushed 5he cloth band really hard towards the end that gives. It came right out.
