The pin head inside my brand new Fitbit Versa broke off and I have tried everything to try to remove it. I tried tweezers, small scissors and a paperclip. Nothing works!
Any suggestions?
Fitbit support will not help because I did not purchase the band through Fitbit.

The bands are not well made and sizing inconsistent. Took 3 tries with FB to get it right. Otherwise watch is great so far

I am in conversation with FB regarding the matter. My watch is only a month old and I feel it would be a waste of money considering the FB over the Apple watch, if they can't do anything to replace or restore the product.
For the people reading this: my pin broke off inside of my casing or watch (centerpiece). The piece of tiny metal is stuck inside the casing and you can't remove it.

So happy I found your response to this problem. Just did that and it worked like a charm. I was panicking thinking I was gonna wear the same band forever hahaha

For the people reading this: my pin broke off inside of my casing or watch (centerpiece / Pebble). The piece of tiny metal is stuck inside the casing and you can't remove it. The fact that my FB was only a month old really help / all my internal also in perfect condition.
This is just another update on my FB. I shipped my FB to the Netherlands return center, its been 6 days and the shipment is already at the address. FB really helped a lot, especially the support function in place.
Anybody with the same issue please do contact fitbit. Hopefully they can resolve my issue and send me a new casing (Hoping), but if they are not able to do it. Still a good product all round and for the time I had the watch it really played its part.

I’m with you, I’m dealing with the same thing. Read through the comments, tried the butter knife, exacto blade, pencil, pin, anything. I can’t remove the bar and now can’t wear the Versa because the band ripped when I tried removing it.
what a terrible, terrible design flaw.

I tried everything like you, but there was no way...finally logged on to see if I was the only person, and I saw your post and someone replied the butter knife trick...it worked! You have to kiss the pin goodbye ( who cares! it was toast) slip the butter knife under the pin (mid point) and lift...the pin just snapped off.
Just put on my summer band! i am soo happy 🙂

I wouldn't agree that the issue has been resolved at all. I've got an Apple Watch in my Best Buy shopping cart waiting to be purchased on the day that the band on my FitBit becomes too broken for wear -- because I can't replace the band. Because the design to change out the bands is ludicrous.

Pin broke of flush inside the body of my Versa. It's stuck and I can't get it to fall out. It was the gray clothe band the watch came with.

Yes. Pin is broken off flush inside the watch plastic.

Just email fitbit, they replaced mine. Use the rubber one instead.
