Pins in wristband breaking

Has anyone else found the bands super difficult to replace? I have followed directions VERY closely, with genuine VERSA wristbands, yet the pins have broken THREE TIMES! And half the time the pin just WON'T find/click into the second hole. Is it just an unlucky series of faults? Or a genuine problem with the design?

@moppy_chief I change the bands on my Versa frequently and never had that issue. I found out that when pushing the pin in one needs to make a little twist/turn motion, like shown in this video. Hope it helps!
