I sure would love to fully use all of my features of my versa!! I am seriously considering returning it for a different smart watch that works with my phone!

Let me help you syncing your Versa with your phone. As you mentioned your phone doesn't show as compatible but that doesn’t mean it won’t work it just means that it hasn’t been tested by our team. You can try the following:

 

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device. 
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. 
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

I tried what you suggested but my versa still doesn't notify me with texts
or calls or emails.

I am right there with you.  I am so disapppointed in FITBIT.  Not only did I not know about this compatibility issue after reaching out to the customer service not once but 3 times.. I lost my stepbet challenge because it didn't sync or track my last 20 steps!  I'm so angry!  They refuse to give me my money back.. they are just not the same customer service oriented company they used to be.  I'm thinking about looking into another company.  I will no longer recommend fitbit!

I sure wish I would have known that Fitbit was not compatible with a LG G8 thinq phone. I have the Versa Lite and I'm sadly missing my notifications when people text me and I don't have my phone on my person....any chance versalite folks are working on this? I can't believe that my Samsung Galaxy 5 work and that a brand spanking new phone does not .....disappointing
