Latest updates have ruined Fitbit...
In the UK on firmware 32.70.7.14 and running the current Android app.
Versa will just not sync anymore, no device found most of the time. Reboot the Versa and it tries to sync but doesn't actually update.
Battery life has absolutely tanked recently too...
I used to get around 4 days out of my Versa now I am having to charge up every night and this is with a recent replacement unit from Fitbit.
These issues are all over the Fitbit forums but the company still ignores and claims there is nothing wrong. Tried all the so called tips but they are not applicable and pretty much useless just like my Versa atm!!
Fix it Fitbit!!

Regarding the battery life:
Some users turn off the Versa overnight to conserve battery life since they don't wear it to sleep. Another scenerio is if you are switching devices and turn off the Versa to conserve the battery. The battery draining issue if you turned off the Versa started with the December 2019 firmware. Which affected many users and was reported. This is still occurring in version 32.70.7.27 as users have started reporting this issue after updating to this firmware. The Versa truly doesn't shut off and the battery drains excessively.
So as long as you never turn off the Versa you should be ok.

I only remove my Versa to shower and charge so the turning off battery drain is not an issue I have encountered.
My particular issue has only started very recently, over the last week or so. I have to charge every night now or the Fitbit will not last the following day. I lose around 25% overnight sleep tracking.
I have managed to get it to sync by rolling back the android app to 2 versions prior to the current one.

How did you do this? I thought my versa was giving out because I've had it since it came out, so i got a new one and its also not syncing.

Google 'Fitbit Android Old Version' and the results bring up sites that host previous versions... I downloaded version 3.17 which is 2 prior to the current one. I am not allowed to link the particular site I used unfortunately

I wasn't having the battery, losing time or sync issues until this update.
Not good when your watch doesnt tell time correctly anymore.
I hope they fix it soon.
