Fitbit has proven its self to be a poor company. I am very displeased with my experience as a fitbit customer. They knowingly provide a faulty product and yet hold no Accountability to their products defects. Within a year my fit bit was replaced 3 times due to manufacture defects still within warranty. It's been a year and a half since my fitbit was purchased and now it has yet again bit the dust (none lasted beyond 6 months of continual use) even after following all the suggestive care instructions. Upon Contacting customer service and after proving the amount of replacements due to defective product they still would only offer a 25% discount off a new product being as my original purchase was out of warranty. Qwhich is a slap in the face to customers in my opinion. I am very disappointed in the fitbit company and their customer service policies. I will no longer be a fitbit customer and will not be recommending this money trap to anyone. I will be replacing my broken fitbit with the leading competitors product that will provide better customer service and actually stand behind their product. Shame on you fitbit!

I completely agree. If someone keeps having problems with your product and it is documented, why offer them a discount to purchase another faulty product. I am done with fitbit and their products. I would rather give my money to another company than keep getting ripped off with these faulty products.

I too am experiencing this sort of poor customer service.  I appreciate that we are in tough times, but due ti illness etc., I rely on some of the monitors that Fitbit claim to provide.  I know they work because my wife has the identical model and all of hers work fine!

I just keep getting fobbed off.  Even had it suggested that it's fine as other device features still work.  I wouldn't buy anything that doesn't work 100% under usual circumstances.  They have kept me hanging on for sooooo long that I can no longer send it back from where we purchased it from.
